Golden Yacht – Amati Ship In A Bottle Kit

This ship-in-a-bottle was once in the beginning a highly decorated yacht produced by the City of Amsterdam in 1660. This yacht was once gifted to Charles II, King of England. The King was once so proud of the gift that he made up our minds to create special regattas for this sort of vessel and coined the nautical term Yacht, derived from the Dutch word “Jaghtschip”, which meant “fast pirate ship”. The Golden Yacht kit includes pre-cut wooden parts, brass photo-etched decks, keel, decorated bulwarks, and a wonderful glass bottle for a museum quality finish.
